Holding On When Breakthrough is Near

Hold On! You're Almost there!!

It’s always darkest before the dawn. Many of us have heard this saying, but it becomes painfully real when we’re in a season where everything seems to be pressing in at once. The pressure is heavy, rejection is loud, and what we thought was stable seems to fall apart.

But here’s the truth — these moments often mean that God is right at the edge of moving in power.

When the Israelites stood trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army (Exodus 14), it looked like defeat was certain. Fear was real, the enemy was close, and escape was impossible. But God was setting the stage for one of the greatest breakthroughs in history.

Your situation may feel like that — closed in on every side, feeling misunderstood, or even abandoned. But just like Moses told the people:

"Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today." – Exodus 14:13

"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” -Exodus 14:14

3 Reminders When You're on the Edge of Breakthrough

1. Pressure often precedes promotion.

David was anointed as king long before he sat on the throne. Before his breakthrough, he faced Goliath, jealous Saul, and years of running for his life. Yet every battle prepared him for the crown. (1 Samuel 16–31)

2. Rejection can be God’s redirection.

Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and falsely accused — yet each step was positioning him for the place where God would use him to save nations. (Genesis 37–50)

3. God does His best work in impossible situations.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s breakthrough came in the middle of a fiery furnace — because God was with them in it. (Daniel 3:25)

Scriptures to Stand On in the Waiting

Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” – Habakkuk 2:3

“Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” – Psalm 30:5

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

Final Encouragement:

If you’re feeling the pressure, the rejection, or the loss — take heart. Those are often the very contractions before a birth. Your season of breakthrough is not just coming, it’s already in motion. Keep trusting. Keep standing. Keep worshipping.

Praise Yahweh! Breakthrough must be near!!!

SPEACIAL PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, The Holy One, The name above all names, to give you glory and praise for everything you are doing behind the scenes for your chosen ones in this season of realignment and refinement. I ask that you would strengthen your children Lord to continue pushing through and pressing in with faith that you are indeed with us and for us. I ask that you would give us a spirit of boldness and confidence right now as the enemy is preaching in our minds thoughts of defeat, fear and doubt. For you have not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind! So right now we take every thought captive that is not of you and cast it down in the name of Jesus! Help us remember that you never leave nor forsake us and you never take your hand off us. Help us remain obedient to your word and sensitive to your voice as we seek your guidance and instructions, may we remember that you already have the victory and we need only to be still and let you do what only you can do in your divine timing, in Jesus' mighty name we pray, -Amen.
